PSAC Bargaining Team Submits Notice to Bargain at Museums of Civilization and War

Union and Corporation to discuss the setting of bargaining dates

The PSAC has sent the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation notice to commence negotiations.  In the coming days we will be speaking with the Corporation to set dates to begin bargaining for a new collective agreement.

Our Local has spent months preparing for negotiations, including a great many department-based and general membership meetings, meetings attended by hundreds of union members.  Based on that input our bargaining team has met and is in the process of preparing our demands for the coming round of negotiations with the Corporation.

In the last round of bargaining we made significant improvements to our collective agreement.  We are determined in this round of bargaining to both protect what we fought so hard to achieve in our previous round of negotiations, and to build upon those improvements so that we might make CMCC a better place to work.

We will be sure to update once dates have been set to commence negotiations.  If you have any questions contact your Shop Steward or a member of our Bargaining Team: Patrice Rémillard, Cathy Mitchell and Eric Pallotta.
