Tentative agreement reached with the Bank of Canada-Montreal

On November 18, 2020, PSAC reached a tentative agreement with the Bank of Canada‎* for Security Officers in Montreal (BU0011 of Local 71250). The agreement achieved several long sought after improvements.

Ratification Information sessions for PSAC Local 71250 Montreal unit (B0011) will be held on December 9th and 10th, 2020 by webinar. Voting will be held electronically and will remain open between December 10th and 16th.

The information session portion of the webinar is obligatory for members to be able to have their ballot counted. The Q&A period afterwards is not obligatory but, recommended as many members find it informative.

PSAC Regulation 15C makes it clear that all members must attend the information session before voting.

Information Sessions by Webinar:

Members of the unit have already been pre-screened for membership status will receive their individual join link for the webinar. Please do not share your join link with others as this will affect the attendance recording and ability for ballots to be counted.

Voting Electronically:

Members who have successfully attended the mandatory portion of one of the above-noted information sessions will be provided with a link to the online voting platform via the personal email address used for the webinar.

You will receive the following, wherewhich, you will be able to cast your ballot.:

  1. a url page to go to,
  2. a user name and
  3. a password

Member in Good Standing Status:

Here are the steps to take to stay a MIGS...

If you have not already done so or if you are a Rand member, to become a member in good standing, a members must sign a union application pledge card.

If you have not alread done so or if you are a member on a type of leave, to become a member in good standing, a member must sign an application for MIGS form.
