11 May 2017, Ottawa — The Public Service Alliance of Canada—National Capital Region (PSAC NCR) extends its solidarity to all those in Ontario and Quebec—including many members—who have been affected by the spring floods, and in some cases have had to leave their homes.
PSAC NCR has made a donation to the Red Cross in support of relief efforts and encourages all members to consider making a donation as well at the following link.
PSAC NCR also extends gratitude and recognition to all first responders, military personnel, social workers, other public service workers, and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to provide relief.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and remain engaged in providing assistance.
