Young workers : a force for change!
PSAC-NCR Young Workers Conference
Are you a young worker (30 years old or less)?
Are you interested in making change happen in your workplace, your union or your community?
Are you in agreement with union values but not quite sure if you fit in?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions, this conference is for you!
The PSAC National Capital Region Young Workers’ Committee is organizing a two day conference on September 13th and 14th for young union members who are active with their union or members willing to find out more about their union. During these two days we will focus on key issues which are important for young workers, hear from guest speakers, develop skills and share views. We’ll discuss things like workplace rights, the role of unions and broader issues which matter to young workers.
Young workers will leave this conference with ideas and tips on how to bring about change in their workplaces, their union and within their communities.
