Letter to PSAC Locals in the NCR

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

On March 4, 2012 neighbourhoods in Brazzaville, Congowere devastated by two ammunition explosions; two hundred lives were lost and over 2500 injured.  Because of this tragedy and the impact on the victims we had to appeal to you once again for financial assistance on their behalf.

The Racially Visible Action Committee (RVAC) of the Public Service Alliance of Canadawould like to express their thanks and appreciation for your generosity and compassion towards the appeal for humanitarian aid; the display of solidarity is greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to the Locals and individuals who responded by donating $5,000.00 which will go a long way towards providing health care services, shelters, emergency supplies and water.  Thank you to the Social Justice Fund and Louise Casselman for the unwavering support in making this possible.
